"Where To Go When (Eyewitness Travel Guides)" Reviews
Breathtaking National Geographic-like pictures and a sense of adventure guaranteed. Where to go when? Well, everywhere. This book names the popular and less popular spots and has some interesting takes on what you can do in your vacation and what time may be best to hit certain destinations. The only problem is that you'll need a lot of vacation--nothing short of 2 or 3 years straight! That last part I am still planning...
So if you have a lot of time and money and enjoy travelling, this is for you. If you don't have a lot of time and money, it will be a reason for you to strive for a lot of time and money, as it will reinforce (or awaken) your love for travelling.
Great coffee-table book and a starting point for further, more detailed, vacation planning.
love this book, I go back to it all the time to tell me the best places to go travel at different times of the year
This is a beautiful, inspiring book. You find all sorts of ideas for future adventures within its superbly photographed pages. Lovely.
I'm dying to take all of these trips...well, almost all of them. I will plan vacations out of this book, believe you me. The photography is stunning, the information is practical and useful, and it inspires my love for the world out there. What more can you ask?
According this book, I'm off by a month for both my Maui (Feb) and Cayman Islands (Nov) trips this year, but who cares--I'm going to Maui and Cayman Islands this year! I wasn't so captured by the idea of this book's organization around when to go where, but the beautiful and alluring photography and just enough enticing information will make you want to go Whenever to many of these places. This will be a great book to return to when making plans or dreaming of where to go next--Charleston or Easter Island in April? Bay of Fundy or Ecuador in September? So many places, so little time.
